I know, I was schooled in a private school in Canada, we had to learn about each countries government and how they worked, my son was schooled in CA. and very little was taught about any government including the US.
This has been their plan all along. It is very easy to sway someone less informed and educated. People with a better education are more apt to be clear thinkers because they have the background knowledge to understand it. This is why they formed the Education department. so they could teach students only what they wanted them to know and more easily program them to have a bias. This is one major reason kids have more problems relating to adults today. Those of us who graduated before 1979 had a completely different education than kids today, and ours was far superior. We have a better understanding of the world, and the advantage of experience to go with it. What do kids have today?... indoctrination camps. Big difference. So, all this unrest and generational skirmishing is by design. This problem will not go away overnight. The right has been asleep for too long. Wake up! We have a lot of catching up to do.
I love how he still was very respectful toward the student. He says he doesn't have patience that's a flaw that he admits having. But I feel like he was pretty patient in this debate.
The student seemed to know about the Electoral College and yet he wasn't getting the correlation being that they don't count every one of our individual votes.
Like somebody said above, I wish he would have actually been listening more intently because then he would have understood what Charlie was trying to convey to him.
Yes, George Washington was strongly against the formation of a two-party system in America. He viewed the rise of political factions as a grave threat to national unity and effective government. Seems like He was right.
Charlie Kirk was a sheperd to all of us - not only a sheperd of religion but a sheperd of our republic by teaching the values of the founders and defining our constitiutional government so that others will stop and think, stop and listen and learn - I am still saddened by his passing and believe he would have easily gone on to a greater presence in whatever endevor he would choose to persue be it political or religious. And he blended both easily and seamlessly at times.
Well said... Charlie was so logical, knowledgeable about so many different topics & was highly influential which made him very powerful. Yet he never abused that power or corrupted his morality. He would have made an excellent President & l would have voted for him too. CIVICS class shd have been taught to our kids at every level of schooling. But since it wasn't, we are stuck with dumbed down adults who don't know how to lead even their own lives, never mind leading the nation!!
Most people do not even understand the difference. And you can see it. MSM lies about it and both parties will lie. We need better education. You have propaganda, not education. You have Marxism that has been allowed to blossom in this Country. I blame both parties for this. And they should all be ousted., as far as I am concerned. Cut the cancer out of this Country.
The right does not tout socialist views, they don't pressure social media to silent conservative citizens, they don't mandate vaxs or lock downs, and arrests if citizens who don't want it. They believe your body your choice..they don't try to force their ideology on us.
Start with disbanding or outlawing everyone in the UNIPARTY then get back to REAL CIVICS education & arresting all the career criminals in govt including all the installed politicians, swamp snakes, lobbyists, swivel serpents posing as civil servants, Insurrectums, traitors, illegal aliens, DARPA MEDIA INDOCTRINATORS Etc..
In a Democracy, the sovereignty is in the whole body of the free citizens. The sovereignty is not divided to smaller units such as individual citizens. To solve a problem, only the whole body politic is authorized to act. Also, being citizens, individuals have duties and obligations to the government. The government’s only obligations to the citizens are those legislatively pre-defined for it by the whole body politic.
In a Republic, the sovereignty resides in the people themselves, whether one or many. In a Republic, on e may act on his own or through his representatives as he chooses to solve a problem. Further, the people have no obligation to the government; instead, the government being hired by the people, is obliged to its owner, the people.
“A Constitutional Republic” is a government created and controlled, at least, by the Law of a Constitution. The Constitution of the United States of America was, in Law, foundationally based on the Bible, the Magna Carta, and the Declaration of Independence. Those documents recognize man’s sovereignty, the divine nature of man’s creation and man’s divine right to Life, Liberty, Property, and the pursuit of happiness.
From the Greek demos (people) + kratos (power/rule).
Broadly means government by the people.
In a pure direct democracy, citizens vote directly on laws and policies.
Example: ancient Athens, or modern referendums (like Switzerland’s frequent public votes).
Republic
From the Latin res publica (the public affair).
Refers to a system where the people hold power, but elect representatives to govern according to laws and a constitution.
Protects against the “tyranny of the majority” by emphasizing rule of law, checks and balances, and often guaranteed rights.
Example: the United States, France, India.
Key Difference
A democracy emphasizes majority rule.
A republic emphasizes the rule of law and minority rights, with elected representatives making decisions.
In practice, most modern countries (like the U.S.) are both — they’re democratic republics: citizens vote (democracy) to choose leaders who govern within a constitutional framework (republic).
Your being manipulated Its not the people Its the constitution for of and by we the people. We are a republic a constitutional republic. Democracy is a farse Tell me How democrats are democracy Favoring selective groups over the people as a whole. It was a lie from the begining they dont give a fuck about you AND NO WE ARE NOT A DEMOCRACY AND YOU WILL NOT FIND IT IN THE CONSTITUTION. NOT ONCE
"White man bad!" So Everyone but the "white people" right? Democracy means anything thats "not white"?SINCE WHEN? Its a lie bro bro. We are a republic.
I have a sister the same way and she has a Masters Degree. She is very liberal but hides it under the guise of research. Her research amounts to finding a PhD that in the most tortured way supports, for example, more genders than two. When I suggest her research is selective, she gets angry. I find liberals in general to be in favor of free speech if it agrees with their free speech, and are unwilling to consider any other view. They assume it’s wrong and facts only make them angry. In the same way she and I don’t talk about the things that set her off.
The sad part is I have never seen America so divided as in the last 40 years. It’s gotten deeper and wider every year and the division is stark and clearly defined. We will never get past it without talking and debating. Politicians love it because it provides the willing base to which to toss emotional red meat, which keeps them in power.
Our country designed around debate and compromise to prevent the need to resort to violence to settle differences. When we can’t or refuse to talk, violence is inevitable. With two presidential assassination attempts and the murder of a prominent leader of a conservative youth movement, all in a short time, we are approaching a time when we either talk or be armed.
Too bad the young person didn’t slow down and listen but he only came to prove himself right!!!
This conversation needs to be for front because most Americans don’t understand this. Media and politicians constantly call us a democracy.
I'm still getting educated! This was not clear in my formal education.
I know, I was schooled in a private school in Canada, we had to learn about each countries government and how they worked, my son was schooled in CA. and very little was taught about any government including the US.

Your education was as incorrect and incomplete as mine was.
Why...
Charlie is having to educate students that should’ve learned this basic in elementary school! I learned it in 7th grade!
We got it in our 5th grade civics class.
Even younger than me, bravo to your school and teacher for educating you on these essential and basic lessons of history and government.
I love how he still was very respectful toward the student. He says he doesn't have patience that's a flaw that he admits having. But I feel like he was pretty patient in this debate.

So you would like to be ruled under the leftist socialist ideology..Not me, I will take my freedom under a Democratic Republic government.
No i would rather live in the constitutional republic america was designed to be. The whole point of the democrat party was to divide the people.
"democratically elected Republican form of government"
I can’t believe they Murdered him🥲

Constitutional Republic is the correct term for what we call this country
correct

We Do Not Live in a Democracy
We Live in a Constitutional Republic.
It’s Important to Know the Difference.

What a wonderful man
To have the patience to get up there and teach young hearts and minds the correct way so they can decide for themselves
Democracy is mob rule and the person that can inflame the mob wins.
When I ask for them to back up one line talking points, what I get is swearing, name calling etc.

They keep saying democracy because the stupid people will believe we are a democracy. We are not. We. Are. A. Constitutional. REPUBLIC.
